So, use it all the time.

Use less technology when NOT at work

Yeah, the convenience and the ease the technology has brought us, I am not denying it.

But… You have to limit the use of it.

This is not taken as the serious blow to your work-life balance to use technological devices back in the home.

You are using the mobile to get connected at the work, taking calls during the dinners, and using the laptop on the weekends, and when out with the family.

Man… Do not really do this, please.

Leave everything which is work related, at work.

Analyze your priorities

What you do? What is benefiting you? Want to try out? Want to drop? Want to continue?

Analyze your priorities for your own sake and stop doing what is not good.

Set goals

Kill what you can kill in the specific time period and do not let it prolong.


Schedule in advance.

Many successful people know what they have to do before the day starts for them.

Be healthy stay healthy

Do not let your work to kill off your rest time.

To be more balanced towards work and the life, you have to be strong and healthy all the time.

Take time for yourself. Eat good and healthy meals to stay active.

Family time

You are out of work, you are now in the family.

Stay with the family. Go out with them. Spend the best quality time which is memorable.

The more the time you spend with your family, the relationship bond becomes more strong.

Try out your options

Today’s companies are coming up with different policies and programs to enhance the work-life balance in terms of flexible work hours, work at home, job sharing, and etc.

If you can exercise the options for yourself that will greatly help you in finding the work-life balance, do try them out.

Ask for help

In many scenarios, the person could be stuck into a task where the help is required. But the problem is, some people do not ask for it.

Ask it. Do not take the stress but relieve it by taking help from your fellow worker.
