Why You Need to Attend the Offline Events to Boost Your Blog
Thanks to the internet, most of the events are happening over the internet.
But do they last for long?
The minute the events happened over the online mediums, they are gone.
So how beneficial they are for you?
Of course, the core purpose of attending an online event was served already because you would have learned and knew what you wanted to join the online event for.
Well, where is the networking opportunity?
Nope. There is none over the online-conducted events.
Then the need comes to go and attend the offline events where the networking is common amongst the attendees.

[toc]What type of offline events to join?
Those offline events that are actually happening in some place.
And have the relevancy as per your own field, interest, and the skill-set.
By attending such relevant offline events, they are almost and mostly filled up/attended by the relevant attendees which is the one brilliant sign, really it is.
But wait?
What if such events that are happening around your reach-to-places, what to do in that case?
Let’s join them as well if you can.
Who knows you land on such networking opportunities where you get the people interested in your working field?
And may be your mentor is also joining that event? Let’s pay the respect to him by attending and meeting with your mentor.
Then your friends from the same fields are joining that event? Just go and meet with them to explore what you can do jointly.
Or just share the ideas and talks with them.
But anyhow, you definitely need to really join the offline events.
How to boost your blog through attending the offline events
Let’s just throw the idea of the relevancy and irrelevancy of the events whether they fit with your niche/skill/interest or they do not.
- Come up with your personalized visiting card
- Get your shirt embedded with URL to your blog
- Wear a cap having your blog’s URL written there
- Gift a pen or diary having your blog URL written at the visible level
- Hand the leaflets about your service(s)/blog(s)
- Become sponsor
Come up with your personalized business cards
That is the ultimate business/seriousness style to achieve the desired results.
If any person is interested and you were successful in commencing the discussion, let’s hand him (or her) with the business card where it should be clearly written about yourself, your services, and your blog.
Do not make them fancier. Just write them to serve the purpose; to actually boost your blog with the distribution of visiting cards.
Get your shirt embedded with URL to your blog
Wear the t-shirt or a shirt where you have written/embedded your blog URL on the front and the back side of it.
This way, you do not need to kickstart the discussion/conversation and you are just promoting yourself by walking here and there. 🙂
Many people are proudly doing that marketing tactic, so why not you do it for yourself as well?
Wear a head cap having your blog’s URL written there
Again… You are fond of wearing a head cap which is optimally visible at the certain level of height.
Whether you are sitting on a seat or strolling through the venue, let your head cap do all of the marketing stuff for you – and that too with FREE of cost. 🙂
This is another marketing tactic being widely used by the attendees AND is allowed, I guess because I do not know if it would be banned in any ways to self-promote yourself without pushing the people.
Gift a pen or diary having your blog URL written at the visible level
This is an advanced and the premium self-marketing trick where you generously gift the pens and notebooks/diaries to the people you happen to network with.
Of course, you would have not designed the pens and the diaries for all of the attendees but just like I said, do with the few people you go with the networking phase with.
See those people are relevant or close-to relevant to you.
Gift those personalized pens and diaries that have your blog’s name written up.
And see how wonderful that act of generosity goes out for you.
You may win the mention on the social sites from them (it happens, and quite happens)! 🙂
Hand the leaflets about your service(s)/blog(s)
Well, I believe that is one good tactic to promote and if asked for the permission in advance from the organizers to spread the leaflets during the session of event is continued, let’s not ditch this idea at all.
Print the good-styled leaflets to show what you do, a little glimpse of how you do, your blog URL, along with other contact mediums.
If the 100s of leaflets are served, they are in the league of higher chances to get back to you in sort of visiting your blog, calling you, emailing you, whatsapping you, and more AND who knows if you get your next client out of that marketing tactic! 🙂
Become sponsor
Many events do want the monetary help to organize the events, nope?
And if that is in your budget to become a sponsor for the event you are planning to visit, that would be the investment worth to make.
Get the organizers to tell that along with your logo or face shot or anything, must write your blog’s URL at the visible font size on the big-wide primary banners and anywhere.
I assure you, that does totally worth it.
Time to conclude
Okay then.
What you got out of it?
Are you then going to enjoy and attend the next offline events happening soon around you?
Well, I am a fond attender of the offline events to be present in the reality and take the full advantage out of the networking session to learn and discuss about the ideas.
So, as you now already know it is totally of worth to attend the offline events, let’s must do attend them! 🙂
