What is vector in physics Class 11

Normally we say I have 50 kg weight. Or you can say I have bought 20gb internet package etc.

But sometime we need to specify little bit more.

For example I went to the school in-front of my home about 5 m away.

In this example we need little bit extra information about direction. If a value has no direction or no need of direction. it is scalar. If a value need a direction. It means it is vector.
